Oh Canada! Crystal Cruises heads to Quebec City

Cruise to Canada’s Small, Quaint Islands and Saint-Pierre & Miquelon.

Crystal Cruises’ fall Canada/New England season is one of big firsts: the first time itineraries will begin and end in French Canada’s picturesque Québec City and the first time the luxurious Crystal Serenity will be sailing the season. Also a first, the ultra-luxe line will offer complimentary transfers to/from Québec and Montréal on embarkation and debarkation days to further expand guests’ flight and sightseeing options.

Starting September 19, 2014, Crystal will offer one seven-day and four 10-day voyages that visit some of the most beautiful and fascinating sites on North America’s eastern coastline. Depending on the departure, destinations include the picturesque Magdalen Islands; historic Boston; quaint Bar Harbor, Maine; fast-paced New York City; millionaires’ getaway Newport, Rhode Island; a maiden call in Sydney, Nova Scotia; a visit to Portland, ME; and a few more.

All Crystal Canada/New England cruises include an overnight in Québec City, renowned for its rich blend of northeastern beauty and European style and culture. Ten-day voyages also include overnights in the other city of embarkation or debarkation (i.e., Boston or New York). The season’s five sailings are:

7 days:

  • September 29, Québec City round-trip

10 days:

  • September 19, Boston to Québec
  • October 6, Québec to New York
  • October 16, New York to Québec
  • October 26, Québec to New York

Lesser visited ports.
Other Canada/New England ports planned for the fall include Baie-Comeau, Sept-Îles, and Havre-Saint-Pierre, P.Q.; Saint John, New Brunswick; Halifax, Nova Scotia; and Saint-Pierre & Miquelon, France (the last remnant of the former “New France” colonies), with cruising along the Gulf of St. Lawrence and Cabot Strait.

Additional special savings offers for the fall voyages include optional air add-ons starting as low as $900 per person, perks for large groups of friends or families sailing together, reduced fares for solo cruisers, complimentary third berths for kids, and double Crystal Society benefits on select itineraries. All-inclusive “Book Now” fares for the season start at just $2,880/person, with up to $1,400 in savings if booked by April 30.
