Disney Cruise Line adds fourth ship to cruise from Florida in 2014

New itineraries and four ships mean big business for Disney Cruise Line, Port Canaveral and Miami

Looks like a bit of Disney magic is coming back to Florida. All four Disney ships will call Florida their home port starting in January 2014. California cruising just couldn’t cut it for the Disney Magic so Disney is bringing the ship back to Port Canaveral for the always-sold out short cruises to the Bahamas.

Kids and tweens at Castaway Cay Port Canaveral will benefit the most, with three ships sailing a variety of itineraries to the Bahamas and the Caribbean. All cruises from Port Canaveral, from three to seven nights, will pay a visit to Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island in the Bahamas. Available only to Disney cruise line guests, Castaway Cay has activities for all ages of kids (it’s Disney of course!) as well as a secluded, quiet stretch of white sand beach, only for adults. There’s bicycle rentals, parasailing and all sorts of water sports and activities just for kids.

Not to be left out, beginning January 10, 2014, Miami will be host to the Disney Wonder, offering four-night Bahamas cruises and five-night Caribbean cruises with two different itineraries.
